Emily and Trevor’s Elegant Traditional Wedding

Emily and Trevor were high school sweethearts. Their traditional wedding at Eighteen Ninety in Platte City, Missouri began with an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the historic estate. They exchanged their vows beneath an absolutely breathtaking arbor that had been draped in sheer flowing fabric and crowned with gorgeous florals and plenty of greenery. A classical string duo provided the accompaniment to Emily’s walk down the aisle and since Eighteen Ninety is pet friendly, she and Trevor were able to have their sweet little dog with them for the big day.

Emily’s fitted gown with its lacy sheer detailing gave her an ethereal look as she posed for photos on the grounds of her historic wedding venue. Her bridesmaids were elegant in rich red gowns and the floral bouquets they carried were a stunning mix of roses, eucalyptus and peonies. Trevor and his groomsmen’s classic black tuxedos brought an air of traditional sophistication to the day and created the prefect contrast to the fields where the wedding party’s portraits were captured.

Inside the reception space, the dark wood tables were decked out with gold-rimmed glass chargers, brass candlesticks and lush florals in shades of red and pink with plenty of eucalyptus and other greenery. The elegant decor created the perfect backdrop to an evening of dinner and dancing. Friends and family made toasts to wish this adorable couple love, luck and happiness in their new life together before saying goodnight with a sparkler send off!
