We’ve all heard that wedding day rain is good luck, but for Sierra and Brian it really was true. When this Minnesota couple saw rain in the forecast for their wedding day, they decided not to let it get them down. Instead, they embraced it and not only did they have an amazing day, but since the overcast sky created the perfect backdrop to their soft color palette, they got some really cool pictures too!
A palette of gray, blush and plenty of lush greenery set the scene for the day’s festivities and Sierra and Brian added plenty of fun details to personalize their celebration. Sierra’s boho chic styling was perfection, from her flowing gown to the delicate flowers she wore in her loose side ponytail. Her bouquet of pale blush roses and eucalyptus leaves completed her look and her bridesmaids looked posh in gray. Brian and his groomsmen wore dark gray suits paired with green ties as a nod to the greenery that made up a large part of the day’s decor.
Adorable details were everywhere, from the repurposed window sign at the entrance to the ceremony space that gave guests the schedule for the evening to the wedding themed Mad Libs the couple placed on each table. White linens created the perfect backdrop for the eucalyptus table runners and wreaths of twigs and sage that hung throughout their tented reception space. We are simply in love with the sign Sierra and Brian placed near the dance floor that gave guests the “rules” for the floor. Our favorite rules: “Dance offs and rap battles highly encouraged!” and “Epic dance moves should be applauded!” You’re right, Sierra and Brian. They totally should be. We’re so glad this fun-loving couple didn’t let the rain slow them down. They even snuck outside for some romantic shots in the drops after sunset.
