Shelly and Karl are a creative couple from Los Angeles who have an amazing sense of style. He works as a festival director for Coachella, she’s a voiceover artist for Pandora. Their wedding day started with first looks on the streets of the iconic “City of Angels”, before they exchanged vows at the stunning Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Wilshire Boulevard. The church’s classic architecture only enhanced the day’s eclectic and impeccably styled vibe.
Shelly was classically beautiful in her antique-inspired lace ballgown with its sweetheart neckline and spaghetti straps which she paired with large teardrop earrings and a traditional two-tiered veil. Karl was dashing in his three-piece burgundy suit and vintage paisley tie. The couple’s wedding party was super stylish, the ladies in non-matching gowns with the emphasis on gold, burgundy and green and the guys in classic gray suits with accessories in the rich palette of early fall tones.
After the ceremony, the celebration moved to The Conduit at Junction Block, an urban chic loft space perfect for the couple’s eclectic style and their vision of a fun, easygoing reception. Shelly and Karl’s focus was on making sure their guests could really kick back and have an amazing night. With outdoor games, a cigar bar, a wall of donuts and plenty of dancing, they did just that. We can’t get enough of the amazing photos that Mark and Kelly from The Stewarts Roam photography captured of this uniquely stylish couple and the graffiti-filled urban landscape of L.A. is both striking and inspiring. Congratulations, Shelly and Karl!
