Christine and Jack are a cool Los Angeles couple who share a love of modern style with a vintage spin and all things Star Wars. They chose the Fig House as their venue for its eclectic styling and endless customization possibilities. The cool loft space and open courtyard offered them a chance to enjoy al fresco dining and dancing, an indoor ceremony and plenty of mingling and connecting with their guests.
Christine’s vintage-inspired gown with its sheer cap sleeves and beaded bodice was reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour, but this modern bride loved that it gave her a chance to show off her ink! She finished her look with a delicate single pearl pendant and the accents in her bouquet picked up on the colors in her gorgeous body art. Her bridesmaids were right on trend, expressing their personal style with different variations of a light lilac cocktail dress, perfect for the modern, open air venue. Jack’s groomsmen were dapper in gray suits, while he and his best man wore navy blue, each with his own fun and funky tie. We can’t get enough of this bridal party’s playful styling, including one set of Ariana Grande inspired kitten ears!
After the ceremony, the large doors to the space were opened so that Christine and Jack’s guests could float in and out enjoying cocktails and conversation. Tables were set outside for dinner with lanterns and Star Wars trading cards as centerpieces to showcase the couple’s love of the Sci-Fi classic. Edison lights strung high above the courtyard cast a romantic glow over the couple’s first dance and set the scene for an evening full of love, laughter and getting down to Adroit Sounds amazing DJ! May the Force be with you, Christine and Jack!
