Alex and Cole’s choice for their engagement shoot’s location was a natural one. Alex’s grandfather, Peter and his family immigrated from the Netherlands and settled in the Fraser Valley in British Columbia in 1950. He brought his Dutch heritage, horticultural knowledge and farming experience with him and began growing tulips on his land in the 1970s. The results of his, and his family’s, decades of work are simply stunning.
The vibrant colors of the flower fields and the perfect blue sky that hung above Alex and Cole’s photo shoot make for some truly unforgettable images. It’s no wonder Alex chose to start the Abbotsford Bloom Tulip Festival here so that others could enjoy the beauty that her grandfather created. We are just blown away by these gorgeous photos that Kendra and Brad from Love Tree Photography captured of this adorable couple!
