Jessica and Dillon’s Surprise Proposal

When Jessica called her cousin Christy, of Southern Rose Photography, to set up a couple’s photo session for Dillon and herself, she was just planning on getting some great photos of the two of them. Dillon had just returned from an overseas deployment with the military and Jessica was looking forward to a fun weekend of cooking together and taking their puppies to the beach – some of this adorable couple’s favorite activities. The photo shoot would be the icing on the cake. But towards the end of the session, Christy was snapping a few solo pictures of Jessica when she asked her cousin to stand in a particular spot because it was “perfect”. That’s when Dillon got down on one knee and pulled out the gorgeous ring he had chosen for his love. Jessica was totally shocked and thrilled. She offered her beau a resounding yes! The look of surprise on her face is priceless. We can’t wait to see the wedding photos. Congratulations Jessica and Dillon, and great job capturing the moment, Christy!
