Marie and Stephen’s Rustic Chic Barn Wedding

Marie and Stephen have an amazing sense of humor and their joyful spirit was never more evident than on their wedding day. The couple planned a rustic-chic barn wedding in Grant, Minnesota and although a little rain came through, this fun loving couple took it in stride playing with their umbrellas and stomping around in rain boots. They exchanged vows beside an altar made of repurposed vintage doors draped with a pale blush fabric that complimented the florals and color scheme of the day and after Stephen kissed his bride the rain let up so that they could get some photos with the venue’s gorgeous farmland as a backdrop.

Marie was stunning in her lace trumpet cut gown with its keyhole back and sparkling beaded detailing. She finished her look with an elegant pendant necklace and a soft messy bun. Her bridesmaids wore blush gowns with lace bodices, each with a double strand pearl bracelet on her wrist. The ladies all carried bouquets of blush and white roses with plenty of greenery and long blush ribbon accents. Stephen was handsome in his three piece blue suit and white tie and his groomsmen were dapper in gray.

Inside the barn, the head table was decked out with a lush runner of greenery and roses in blush and white and the warm wood walls gave the space a rich romantic glow. Details like vintage frames, lace curtains and Edison lights completed the decor and guests had fun posing in the couple’s photo booth. After dinner, Marie, Stephen and their guests got a chance to strut their stuff on the dance floor and the newlyweds were treated to a surprise flash mob in their honor. The extensive dessert buffet included cupcakes, donuts and, of course, wedding cake! Marie and Stephen’s wedding was one to remember. Congratulations you two!
