Gia and Josh’s Boho-Chic Cabo Wedding

Gia and Josh’s Cabo San Lucas destination wedding was picture perfect! The ceremony took place right on the beach beside an asymmetrical arbor adorned with tropical palm leaves and funky mirrored lanterns. They exchanged their vows in the presence of their closest friends and family and left one seat open to hold a special tribute to Gia’s mom who had passed away. After the ceremony the entire wedding party had a great time posing for pictures in the sand and Gia and Josh got some gorgeous couple’s shots with the rolling surf as a backdrop.

Gia was stunning in her fitted modern lace gown with its off-the-shoulder sleeves, side slit and dramatic low back. She finished her look with boho-chic ankle bracelets, a crown of braids and of course, bare feet! Her bridesmaids were pretty in different shades of blush and pale coral and each lady carried a small pink quartz stone that would later serve as a candle holder to create a romantic glow at the reception. Gia’s bouquet was a unique combination of succulent and eucalyptus leaves. Josh and his guys went for a casual beachy look in gray chinos and button down shirts. The groom in white, the groomsmen in black, and of course, they were rocking the cool shades.

The open air reception took place under the warm skies of a perfect Baja night. Tables were set with gray linens, small succulent plants and plenty of votive candles. Strung Edison lights hung above the space and Gia and Josh added a touch of whimsy with a lighted sign that read “siempre” which means “always” in Spanish. As the sun set over the ocean, guests were treated to a delicious dinner before dancing the night away under the stars. Congratulations Gia and Josh!
