Haley and Greg’s wedding was a gilded, garden-like dream filled with delicate pink and white florals, vintage-inspred details and a bride and groom brimming with love for one another. These two college sweethearts met at a dorm party freshman year and instantly became friends. They spent all of their free time together, study, partying and jamming out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. By the time junior year rolled around, they realized they were more than just friends and started dating. After graduation they both moved to Boston and when Haley moved to Providence to get her PhD at Brown, Greg soon followed and the two moved in together. They’ve traveled the country together, falling more in love each day, until they decided they were ready to take the plunge of dog ownership and got an adorable golden retriever who they named Brady. It was on Brady’s second birthday that Greg proposed while he and Haley were taking her for a special birthday walk at Chase Farm in Lincoln, RI.
Their wedding day started with first looks and an intimate garden ceremony. Haley was stunning in her fitted gown with its illusion bodice details and chapel train and Greg was dashing in blue. For the reception, elements of the garden came inside where the ballroom at the Lord Thompson Manor was decked out in lush florals and gold accents. Tables were set with shimmering pale taupe linens, gold chargers and flatware and vintage-inspired lanterns. After dinner, Haley and Greg cut their “naked” wedding cake and enjoyed dancing the night away with their guests in the Manor’s conservatory. Congratulations Haley and Greg!
