Whitney and Jacob’s Rustic Afternoon Farm Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Whitney and Jacob met at a party where neither of them wanted to be. Turns out it was a good thing their friends had dragged them out that night, because they ended up meeting the loves of their lives. They chose Zyntango Farms in Indiana for their afternoon wedding. A modern color palette of white and gold with lush greenery set the stage for an elegant afternoon. Whitney was stunning in her lace trumpet cut gown with its full tulle skirting and crystal accents. She finished her look with a long veil and carried a bouquet of white and blush roses and eucalyptus accents. Jacob was handsome in a three-piece light gray suit with a gray tie and a simple white rose boutonnière. They exchanged vows under a wooden arbor draped in flowing white fabric and florals with a vintage-inspired chandelier hung from its center.

At the reception, the barn space was decked out with strung Edison bulbs, white linens and gold accents. Wreaths of greenery sat around hurricane and pillar candles to create the centerpieces and lanterns and all white floral bouquets completed the decor. Whitney and Jacob’s sweetheart table, which sat on the open side of the barn space, featured a runner of greenery and baby’s breath and vintage plates that sat atop gold chargers. The dance floor where the newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife was right outside the dining space and the Edison light theme carried right on through. As the sun went down on Whitney and Jacob’s wedding day, guests saw them off with glow sticks in hand. Congratulations Whitney and Jacob!
