Helen and Dustin’s Glamorous San Francisco Engagement Shoot

Helen and Dustin went to the same high school, but they weren’t sweethearts. Dustin was a senior when Helen was a freshman, so they didn’t hang out, although they knew of each other. After graduation, Dustin went away to college. It wasn’t until several years later that they reconnected at a mutual friend’s going away party. Helen says Dustin “made me laugh and I haven’t stopped laughing since”. They started dating shortly after that night, with Dustin making an hour long trip to see Helen everyday while she was getting her degree. That was 2006. That’s right, this adorable couple has been going strong for 12 years! They finally decided to tie the knot on their tenth anniversary when, after their traditional romantic anniversary dinner, Dustin popped the question. Helen answered with a resounding yes and wedding planning was underway, starting with an amazing engagement photo session. Their photographer, Kathy of Kathy Izzy Photography, took them to stunning settings from urban to beachfront and for their part, Helen and Dustin rocked some glamorous fashion.
