Lindsay and Daniel said “I do” at The Ashford Estate in Allentown, New Jersey. The venue boasts a stunning estate house, hundreds of acres of preserved farmland and endless photographic opportunities, from waterfalls to stone ruins to garden arbors. Their wedding day was at the height of cherry blossom season and started with first looks beside the estate’s wrought iron gates. They held their ceremony in the on-site chapel beside a grand stone fireplace decorated with lush pink and white florals and gold hoop ornaments. Their adorable fur baby served as their “flower dog” and after their first kiss as husband and wife, the pair had a blast posing for portraits on the estate’s idyllic grounds.
Lindsay was radiant in her Hayley Paige gown with its intricately crafted bodice and signature, light and airy skirting. She finished her look with a pearl and diamond pendant and a sweet pair of Kate Spade peep-toe wedges. Her bridesmaids were perfect in off-the-shoulder pink gowns and all of the ladies carried luscious bouquets of peonies, roses and wildflowers with eucalyptus accents. Daniel and his groomsmen were dapper in classic black tuxes and each gentleman pinned a single blush rose boutonnière to his lapel.
The reception took place in the estate’s atrium, but since their wedding was on Derby Day, Lindsay and Daniel set up a Kentucky Derby event in the library where guests could enjoy a mint julep while placing a bet on the big race! In the atrium, tabes were set with blush linens and sheer, gold brocade overlays. A combination of tall and short centerpieces gave the room added dimension and gold accents like table numbers and votives completed the playful, yet elegant decor. Lindsay and Daniel lit up the marble dance floor as they spun through their first dance and the party took off from there. By the time the newlyweds cut their gold and white wedding cake, all of their guests were up and partying, celebrating this adorable couple’s union with joy and exuberance. Congratulations Lindsay and Daniel!
