Hannah and Logan’s Rustic Boho Camp Ceremony

by Amy Serrago

Hannah and Logan said “I do” at Camp Blessing, a summer camp for special needs kids that Logan’s family operates in Brenham, TX. Faith and family were the order of the day. Their ceremony took place under the shelter of a grand tree which was draped in twinkle lights. The rustic wooden altar was covered in gorgeous floral arrangements featuring roses in blush, red and white with lush greenery to accent. A vintage velvet settee was placed just behind it with a small brass basin nearby because, Hannah and Logan chose, as their unity ritual, to wash one another’s feet. This ancient Christian tradition symbolizes their life of service to each other, reminding them that marriage isn’t all romance and big flashy moments, but devotion to your partner for life.

Hannah was glowing in her boho-chic gown with its deep V neckline and full flowing skirting. Her bridesmaids looked dreamy in sky blue and her bouquet matched the flowers on the couple’s wedding altar, but added touches of blue thistle and disbuds. Logan was handsome in his deep plum velvet jacket and floral bow tie and his groomsmen were dapper in navy blue pants and red suspenders. After their first kiss as husband and wife, Hannah and Logan had fun posing for portraits on the camp’s expansive grounds before they shared dinner and a sunset dance surrounded by their loved ones. Hannah and Logan’s wedding wasn’t flashy or packed with over-the-top details, it was organic, romantic and true. Focusing on their commitment to one another and the joining together of two families with joy and exuberance. A truly beautiful celebration of true love. Congratulations Hannah and Logan!
