Nyki and Adam met online. She was new to the Phoenix area and was just looking to make friends, so that’s what they were. For years. Through other relationships, they were always there for each other. Adam even caught the garter at Nyki’s first wedding. But after years of being just friends, the two ended up single at the same time. They thought long and hard about crossing the line between friendship and dating, but when they finally decided to go for it, they were glad they did. Nyki says being with her best friend has “made the relationship so much better”.
When this pair of best friends decided to tie the knot they planned a chic modern wedding with a retro twist. They incorporated their personal style into the decor and chose a venue with clean modern architecture (a favorite of both the bride and the groom). Nyki’s twelve year old daughter chose her gorgeous gown and her bouquet featured 13 calla lilies. One for every year she’d known Adam. Adam found his suit online and it fit his style perfectly. The reception decor featured a gray and green color palette and retro starbursts and at the end of the night, this chic couple made their getaway in an awesome vintage car. Congratulations Nyki and Adam!
