Whitney and Zach’s wedding day started with a traditional church ceremony. They also honored another wedding tradition and skipped the first look photos. That way, they didn’t see each other until Whitney walked down the aisle. And as she did, she held a bouquet wrapped with a piece of lace from her mom’s wedding dress. Therefore, she had her something old and her something borrowed in one piece!
After their first married kiss, Whitney and Zach posed for portraits outside their reception venue, Warehouse on State. There, the wedding party’s colorful styling popped against the industrial-chic backdrop!
Whitney was radiant in her Sophia Tolli gown with its sheer lacy bodice detailing. Her bridesmaids were elegant in periwinkle blue with bold coral wraps and all of the ladies carried pastel florals with eucalyptus accents. Zach and his groomsmen were certainly handsome in black suits with pale blue ties. They also rocked matching gray and coral argyle socks!
Inside the warehouse, sky blue linens and whimsical centerpieces graced the dinner tables. Meanwhile, lush greenery and pops of coral and yellow gave the floral design a joyful feel. Plenty of votives created a romantic glow and Edison lights were strung high above the dance floor. Touches like gilded nameplate place cards and Ohio State dancing socks definitely gave the day personal flair and after dinner Whitney and Zach danced the night away with their guests. Congratulations you two!
