Lorraine and Ray met through mutual friends, at Ray’s birthday party. Months later, Ray posted a sky diving deal he’d found on Facebook. He was trying to find friends to join him and Lorraine was the only one who said yes. The jump got postponed, but Lorraine and Ray went out anyway and had a great time.
They rescheduled their sky diving adventure twice before it finally happened. That day, the two jumped hand in hand, literally falling for one another. But, it wasn’t until their second jump, years later, that Ray popped the question. After a 13,000 foot freefall, he got down on one knee and asked Lorraine to be his bride. Of course, she said yes and they started planing a wedding filled with their favorite things, adventure, EDM and the Golden State Warriors!
The day started with a traditional church ceremony that featured a unity candle lighting. Lorraine was gorgeous in her mermaid cut gown and cathedral length veil and Ray was dapper in his classic black tuxedo. The wedding party was elegant in burgundy and gray and the bridal bouquets were a delicate blend of pastel roses.
The grandeur of the church set the scene for a luxurious reception at the historic Banking Hall in San Francisco. The ballroom featured stone pillars, marble floors and high ceilings all decked out in a dusty rose and pale blush color scheme. Perfectly round centerpieces featured roses and orchids and pale pink uplighting gave the room an ethereal glow. Personal touches highlighted Lorraine and Ray’s high flying courtship and their total Golden State Warriors fandom. Meanwhile, two DJ’s kept the dance floor packed, spinning all of the newlyweds’ favorite jams. Congratulations Lorraine and Ray!
