Monique and Justin’s European Destination Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Monique and Justin’s wedding was truly an international affair. First, Justin proposed on a cruise around Sydney Harbor in Australia, right in front of the iconic opera house. Of course, Monique said yes and planning was underway! They chose the beautifully historic Otocec Castle in Slovenia for their wedding. The 13th century castle is surrounded by water, making it the perfect place for a fairytale destination wedding. Monique and Justin exchanged vows on the castle’s grounds and then shared a toast with their guests. Monique was radiant in her long sleeved, lace gown and Justin was handsome in gray.

Later the party moved inside for dinner and farmhouse tables were set with white linens and delicate pink florals. Monique and Justin shared their first dance in the dining room and then cut their wedding cake. Meanwhile their guests mingled and danced into the evening while the castle’s warm glow could be seen from across the water. And after the celebration, the newlyweds embarked on a grand European tour for their honeymoon. Congratulations Monique and Justin!
