Kelsey and Dan live in New York city now, but they met while living in Chicago. Kelsey was waiting tables at an Irish pub while earning her masters degree in writing. At the same time, Dan was working for a telecom company.
One night, Kelsey struck up a conversation with a couple of her customers and they invited her to a pub crawl they’d planned. As luck would have it, Dan was also participating in the crawl! The event was Olympic themed and Dan was decked out in a fully-Speedo-ed Michael Phelps costume. Kelsey and Dan’s mutual attraction was instant and she loved that he didn’t take himself too seriously.
Eight years later, this adventurous couple tied the knot at the top of the world in Crested Butte, Colorado. Kelsey was radiant in her Watters gown. It’s illusion neckline and flowing skirting were absolutely dreamy and Dan was dapper in gray. They exchanged vows beside a wooden arbor draped with white sheers. The mountain views made the perfect backdrop.
The reception decor featured colorful florals and hanging vases. Meanwhile, rustic wooden touches brought the beauty of nature inside. After Kelsey and Dan posed for mountaintop portraits, they kicked off the festivities with their first dance. Later they cut their wedding cake and enjoyed a slice as the sun set over the peaks. Congratulations Kelsey and Dan!
