Sabrina and Dan: Laid Back Charm With a Modern Touch

by Amy Serrago

Sabrina says it was fate when she and Dan ended up on the same kickball team. Because they felt instant chemistry. On their first night out, they were corn hole champions and took several victory laps around the bar! After that, they bonded over their love of dogs, video games and travel. Dan is quite the jokester. So, right after they closed on their house, he “popped” the question using a ring pop! Sabrina thought he was kidding, until their fur babies revealed her actual ring!

This fun Florida couple’s wedding started with cocktails. Guests sipped beverages in the sunshine while a close friend officiated their marriage. In addition, they shared a wine unity ritual to symbolize their eternal union. Sabrina says that made the ceremony “extra special”.

Sabrina was gorgeous in her lacy gown with its tulle straps. Meanwhile, its blush pink lining gave it a subtle hint of color. Her bridesmaids chose their own gowns in pastel shades and carried floral hoops instead of bouquets. At the same time, Dan was handsome in a navy blue suit paired with a pink shirt and pale blue tie. His groomsmen, on the other hand, wore gray suits with light blue shirts and pale pink ties. But all the guys rocked Converse sneakers!

Their reception’s decor was all DIY! They hunted stores like HomeGoods and Michaels to find terrariums for their centerpieces. And repurposed hula hoops were wrapped in gold tape and decorated with silk flowers to create a seating chart. Even the photo booth was DIY! Gold touches and pastel florals gave the decor a modern feel. But above all, the newlyweds had an amazing time with all of their favorite people. Congratulations Sabrina and Dan!
