Romantic Wedding at Cross Creek Ranch

I think we can all collectively say it’s finally here!!! Mercedes and Andrew, every single person in attendance couldn’t stop talking about how amazing you both are. All of the kind words your friends and family told me, made me even more excited and grateful to be there celebrating you both on your big day! I still remember when you posted on Instagram that y’all were engaged and almost immediately started planning your wedding. You’ve both worked so hard putting your celebration together and it shows. You planned a gorgeous day and I can tell that there wasn’t a detail left unplanned. It was perfection.

I arrived at the Aloft hotel in Richardson while the girls were finishing getting ready and got to meet all the bridesmaids, some friends, and the bride’s mom. We recreated some middle school photos and I finished up some detailed photos. Fun fact: Mercedes wore her mom’s pearl necklace and her mother-in-law’s pearl earrings and they matched perfectly with the dress. I don’t think it could have been planned better. But my favorite part was their shoes. All the bridesmaids wore matching floral vans sneakers. As a sneaker bride myself I was loving this!

Their wedding and reception were at Cross Creek Ranch in Parker Texas, and it was such a beautiful day! First things first were their first look and reading their vows privately to each other. I may or may not have been tearing up behind my camera as I tried to not listen. Their vows were beautiful and you could tell they were written from the heart. Their cats made an appearance in their vows as well as on their cake topper. Such a cute way to have your fur babies included in spirit!!

During their ceremony, Mercedes was walked down the aisle by her grandfather and it was a very tender and sweet moment. Their officiant was a family friend which was such a sweet touch, having someone personal being the one to marry you couldn’t be better! They had an intimate ceremony of friends and family and I saw no lack of dry eyes. You could really tell everyone there loved these two so much.

Let’s skip to their reception! One of my favorite parts was that Andrew didn’t know their wedding cake was funfetti! When they cut into it, it was such a fun surprise!! Did I mention the cats earlier? Their second appearance was on the cake topper and when I saw it in person for the first time I got so excited! This was one of the most fun receptions I’ve been to in a while, I think I saw everyone on the dance floor at one point or another. This was a party!!

To bring it all together, Mercedes and Andrew, there was so much love surrounding you this last Sunday. From those who traveled from out of state, to those that drove a short time it’s obvious that everyone was there for you and was so excited for you both. It’s been a long time coming, and I’ll say it again. Congratulations on FINALLY getting married.
