Ceremony was at St. Francis Xavier Church in La Grange, IL. The Reception was at Newberry Library Chicago, IL.
In 2008 they started dating. Sam went to Depaul, Alicia went to Marquette. For grad school, she went to ISU and studied Speech Pathology. She is a speech pathologist with kids now. Shes working summer school. Sam went to Notre Dame and studied Law. Hes a lawyer for Cook County and has been working for 2 years.
They bought a fixer upper house. They live in LaGrange and moved in April right when COVID started. By summertime they got a dog, they rescued Arnold a lab mix. They both wanted to wait to get engaged because of all the school they had to finish.
Proposal Story
During the 2020 Christmas season, she was visiting at home and her parents were trying to kick her out so that she could get back to him because he was ready to propose. The tree lights were off and one ornament was lit and the ring was in that bulb. Music was playing. She walked in the back door and was carrying bags and was confused by why he didn’t help her. But there he was standing in the room next to the tree, waiting for her.
