A note from the bride ~

Julian and I met underneath fireworks on New Years Eve. We were attending the wedding of his brother Christoph and my friend Holly. He is a west Texas boy that works on a vineyard and I am a teacher from the suburbs. (As if it couldn’t be any more of a Hallmark story). Julian asked me out that very night. We spent the rest of NYE night playing air hockey and arcade games, while ringing in the new year together as complete strangers. Now we get to ring in every new year together for the rest of our lives! We instantly connected. I knew Julian was different when we met for coffee the very next morning. I have never met a man as pursuing, selfless, and loving as Julian. Conversations with him were fun, easy, and left us both never wanting to leave. He was on my mind the entire drive back to Dallas from Lubbock. He never let the long-distance stop us from getting to know one another. Julian continued to call me and make arrangements to see me. He and I fell in love by making time for one another to travel 400 miles on the weekends and talking on the phone constantly. He is my best friend, the man I fell in love with and I am honored that I get to be his wife. God’s hand has been on our relationship from the beginning and I know we are both incredibly thankful.
