Jamie and Daniel’s Surprise Winter Proposal at Big Cottonwood Canyon

This was a surprise proposal in Utah. My client Daniel reached out to me asking for help planning his surprise proposal to his girlfriend who has never seen snow. They were coming to Salt Lake City that December and Daniel thought propping among pine trees in a snow would a be great idea.

The date was not a coincidence either. Unfortunately Jamie’s father passed away on that date so it was a nice way to remember him. Daniel bought Jamie a beanie and scarf just for this trip as they live in FL and don’t need winter clothing. Jamie is originally from Trinidad and has never seen a real snow. He initially told her they’re going on a hike in a Big Cottonwood Canyon and then surprised her with a romantic proposal, flowers and champagne.
