Victoria and Thomas’s Super Intimate Wedding with a Beautiful Love Story

Victoria and Thomas meet the old-fashioned way–online. They start chatting, and agree to meet up, but encounter a few hiccups even that early on in their relationship, as Thomas isn’t in the best place in his life at the time, and more than once, fails to follow through on agreed-upon plans.

Finally, they manage to make it happen, and find themselves walking the deserted streets of downtown Plano on a weeknight, on their way to get dessert. Thomas asks Victoria if she wants to hold hands, which she rebuffs, as she’s only interested in friendly exchange and fun. Thomas, for his part, interprets this romantic rejection as flirtatious and proceeds to take Victoria to the most romantic dating spot in DFW.

And it’s while indulging in peanut buttery chocolate ice cream cake desserts and caramel rimmed lattes, that they start to notice their abundant chemistry and shared characteristics.

Then, to add to the odd magic of the night, when the waiter returns to the table with the signed check, they say, “Now go and have the best night of your lives.”

From there, Thomas invites Victoria back to his apartment, which she repeatedly declines, but he gets her to agree by telling her to at least come and meet his cats. And once she’s sitting there on his black couch, the magic continues.

His cat, Artemis, who she is bonding with, reminds her of her beloved cat she was separated from.

Then Thomas starts playing his music playlist, and she’s REALLY blown away. As the playlist unfolds, and each song transitions to the next, Victoria discovers that they share the same favorite music, down to the exact songs. After a few songs, she even starts tearing up.

So, after being reluctant to continue their date at his apartment, and hesitant to even hold his hand, all of a sudden, Victoria feels comfortable, safe, familiar and like she is exactly where she needs to be in that moment. Song after song, Victoria feels like she is getting hit by waves, one after another, that are waking her up for the first time.

And when “Counting Down the Days” by Above & Beyond begins, Victoria and Thomas lock eyes–no words needed–and mutually come together for their first kiss. Thomas is in absolute shock and exclaims to Victoria, “where have you been?!”

On the car ride home after leaving Thomas’ apartment that night, Victoria is absolutely overcome with a sense of FINALLY feeling like she had found what had eluded her for so long–home.

But even with the incredibly strong emotions and connection both Victoria and Thomas know they are feeling, what they also both know is that it is still incredibly early, and they have only ever met in person just once let alone spending any significant quality time together.

But it also doesn’t feel right to not acknowledge the intensity of their meeting. So, on their second date, Victoria goes out on a limb, and tells Thomas “I love you”. It brings them both to tears, and before Victoria leaves, Thomas sits Victoria down and insists that they give a committed relationship a shot–that what they both are experiencing is a gift most people never have the privilege of knowing.

And terrified by the idea of such a serious commitment so soon, and unsure that she is even ready with where she is in her own life, Victoria decides that as nuts as it feels and sounds, she is willing to take the leap.

So, from there, Victoria and Thomas literally spend every moment they can together, completely merging their lives. After two weeks of this, one morning, Thomas holds Victoria in the kitchen while making breakfast and asks, “will you marry me?” Victoria asks if he is actually serious…or just expressing a temporary flood of emotion…or if he is simply just happy she is making him breakfast. But Thomas is serious. So Victoria searches within herself for an answer, and in the moment, the answer is “yes.”

As fiancée’s, Thomas meets Victoria’s children and co-parent, and Victoria and Thomas move in together.

Unfortunately–this does not go as planned.

Once they start living together, Thomas begins experiencing massive waves of resurfacing trauma, and the reality that he hadn’t put in the work to show up to this full life Victoria brought him into. He begins closing off from, and pushing Victoria away, sabotaging her to his loved ones and sabotaging their relationship.

And Victoria can certainly tell that something is off, so, seeing how miserable Thomas is, she sits him down one day, and asks him to leave.

It is the hardest thing she has ever done.

And if moving in with Victoria caused trauma for Thomas, and pulled him away from his higher self, the END of their relationship certainly does him no better. Both he and Victoria start engaging in self-defeating behavior, desperately seeking relief from their heartbreak.

So, for awhile, that’s what it is–both of them muddling through their lives, apart, and needing to do their own work, and figure out for themselves whether or not they will be able to–not only stop the destructive behaviors, both for themselves and their relationship–but mend the rifts between them.

Do they still feel their connection and intense pull toward each other? Absolutely! But as they had already proven to themselves–that connection is not enough if the other parts of their selves and lives are not in alignment.

And over time, Thomas finally realizes the cold, hard, heavy truth that if he doesn’t truly face his demons, he will lose Victoria forever.

Victoria, meanwhile, has to work through trusting Thomas again.

So, eventually, they decide to reconnect. And needless to say—and as expected—the emotional surgery is messy. There are fights that feel final. But their fight against their inner demons proves stronger, and Thomas makes a vow to himself that he is never going to risk losing Victoria again.

And once they have finally done the inner work required to be able to treat their once-in-a-lifetime connection with the respect and reverence it so dearly deserves, Victoria and Thomas are off and running, and don’t look back. They:

• achieve success in a new career,
• renovate and sell Victoria’s house,
• buy a new home together,
• And get Victoria through the final stages of her divorce, a custody battle, and 8 weeks of recovery from two major surgeries.

During that recovery, Thomas takes precious and tedious care of Victoria, all their pets, the house and children, AND manages to keep their businesses going.

Victoria experiences a restoration and healing with Thomas, seeing that she could fully entrust her entire life to him and be safe and loved. She says that Thomas has become the most beautiful father to their children, and they have both learned to have patience for each other’s weaknesses, and admiration for each other’s strengths and successes.

So, today—on a Full Supermoon, the “Hunter’s Moon”, Victoria and Thomas bind their spirits in earthly tangible ways, as two Taurus bulls, grounding their souls, charging into the life they are meant to be living. Every day, they experience intense synchronicity, The Universe sending them winks that they are on the right path, enjoying, cherishing, appreciating, and preserving the exquisite soulmate bond that according to science, only 1 in 10,000 people have the chance to experience. Together they found a home in each other, and have built a beautiful life with the children, their four cats, one hamster, and one french bulldog.
