Tropical Wedding Inspiration With A Vintage Twist

by Amy Serrago

This week’s dose of wedding inspiration takes you all the way to the tropics while celebrating a very vintage historic property. The team behind this creative shoot started with the raw space and exposed brick of Merchant’s Hall in Charleston, SC. Built in 1865, the venue boasts open space and antique architecture, making it the perfect place to let your imagination run wild and that’s just what they did. Valerie, with Xpressions Design, says she “wanted to bring Tropical elements to the south”. Using oversized monstera leaves, mini pineapples, bright red ginger and saturated hues of fusica, orange and yellow rose she created a tropical vibe that makes you feel like you flew to Cabo! We are just in love with the vibrant color palette, the gold accents and the playful wedding party styling and we hope you find all the inspiration you need to bring a taste of the tropics to your wedding whether you’re in San Diego or Saskatchewan.
