Kristi and Keith dated for years before they finally decided to tie the knot in a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony. They exchanged vows in the absolutely stunning Holy Trinity Church in Lansing, Michigan, which was founded back in 1900 by a small group of Greek immigrants. The aisle was lined with delicate blush florals and the ornate styling of the church’s altar provided a breathtaking backdrop to Kristi and Keith’s nuptials, including traditional Stefana crowns, which symbolically tie the couple together for the rest of their lives.
Kristi was gorgeous in her lace, trumpet cut gown with its scalloped straps, hint of sparkle and chapel train. She finished her look with a fingertip veil with glittering edge details and carried a lush bouquet of blush and white roses with blue thistle and wildflower accents. Her bridesmaids were elegant in navy blue halter gowns and their bouquets featured the same florals as Kristi’s. Keith was handsome in his gray suit and white tie and vest and his groomsmen were dapper in gray with navy accessories to match the ladies.
At the reception, rustic details were combined with vintage accents for an upscale, dreamy vibe. Tables were set with glass chargers and blue lace runners, and white fabric was draped from the ceiling of The Northfork Estate’s modern barn space. Kristi and Keith’s head table had a pale pink backdrop behind it that was decorated with greenery and twinkle lights, casting a romantic glow perfect for dining in style. After dinner, the happy couple cut their wedding cake before hitting the dance floor to celebrate with their loved ones and partake in a couple more wedding traditions – the bouquet and garter toss. And they had a great time doing it, even when the garter got stuck in the ceiling decor! Congratulations Kristi and Keith!
