Adiaha and Matt’s Romantic Historic Inn Wedding

Adiaha and Matt first met when they were just kids. Their love story starts way back in the third grade when Matt pointed to Adiaha and said, “I’m going to marry her”. They had some growing up to do first, but eventually, Matt made Adiaha his bride. They exchanged vows at The Inn at Wise in Wise, VA, the venue Adiaha had always dreamed of, with their adorable daughter, Sophia, by their side. Sophia helped her mom get ready for first looks with her dad on the inn’s wraparound porch and at the outdoor ceremony, which took place under a grand old tree, Sophia walked down the aisle before Adiaha carrying a sign that read: “Daddy, just wait ’til you see Mommy”. So cute! After their first kiss as husband and wife, Adiaha and Matt posed for family portraits on the steps of the historic inn.

Adiaha was stunning in her trumpet cut gown with its lacy details and off-the-shoulder sleeves. She finished her look with a long veil for added drama and carried a classic white floral bouquet featuring calla lilies, roses and snapdragons. Her bridesmaids wore non-matching gowns in shades of blush and pink, some with added sparkle, and each lady carried a single calla lily. Matt and his groomsmen were handsome in light beige suits. Matt in all three pieces, his guys in vests and shirts.

At the reception, tables were set with crisp white linens and varying white floral centerpieces that featured hurricane and floating candles atop mirrored pedestals for a timeless, elegant look. Chairs were adorned with gold sashes and mirrored and gold accents completed the decor. Instead of a guest book, Adiaha and Matt invited their loved ones to sign a custom bottle of wine and each guest went home with a mini succulent favor. Adiaha and Matt got the party started with a traditional first dance and then Matt shared a special dance with Sophia. Adiaha says she plans to display a photo of that dance at Sophia’s wedding someday. As the evening came to a close, guests were invited to say goodnight to the newlyweds with a fun sparkler send off.
