Not every couple gets the chance to say “I do” at a club the father of the bride was once kicked out of. But luckily, the Kansas City Country Club forgot about the time Meg’s dad drove his car into a tree there. After all, he was only a teenager when it happened!
So, Texas residents Meg and Will made the trip to Meg’s hometown, Kansas City, to say “I do” at the site of Dad’s infamous ride. Their “sweet and sassy” wedding day started with a ceremony full of love, laughter and tears. And heartfelt remembrances of Meg’s mom, who passed away the previous year.
Meg was radiant in her Sareh Nouri gown. Its lacy sleeves and chapel train were perfect for a winter wedding. Her bridesmaids wore winter-ready navy blue gowns and each lady topped her look with a chic faux fur stole. At the same time, Will and his guys were handsome in classic black tuxes. And the whole wedding party had fun posing for portraits in the late-winter snowy landscape.
The reception decor featured long tables, navy blue linens and posh gold accents. Meanwhile the floral design was simply stunning, pops of red in mainly white arrangements with plenty of greenery. Meg and Will got the party started with their first dance and guests had fun playing with the wigs and masks from the photo booth. Towards the end of the night, they served sliders as a late night snack, and Meg busted out some sassy rhymes with a karaoke rap! Totally sweet. Congratulations Meg and Will!
