A Colorful Southern Fruit-Themed Wedding: Jacey & Jacob

Photos and story by Kimberly Harrell Photography Jacey and Jacob had their Hidden Pines Wedding this week! Ring the bells because this is a match made in heaven and has been in the works since 5th grade! (Cue all the heart emojis) Carson, the best man, told of how these two exchanged gifts that year and how his big brother gave Jacey earrings even though she didn’t have pierced ears. “Real Smooth” Carson quipped “Glad she gave you another chance” They said I do at Hidden Pines Chapel in Highland Village. I loved the pops of color splashed throughout their ceremony and reception. The chapel where they had their ceremony is absolutely breathtaking! Light-colored walls, high ceilings, huge windows, amazing light, gorgeous florals everywhere- it’s a total dream! They even managed to look great despite a freak thunderstorm! Nothing could …

Industrial Chic North Carolina Wedding

Photos captured by Summer Brooke Photography Submitted by Tier & Co. The focus of this shoot was to really focus on the intimacy between the couple and portray that through the décor and the photography. The couple actually had to cancel their reception due to COVID, so they didn’t have any sort of real wedding photos to look back on. Once I found this out, I was so glad that we were able to give them some true wedding photos signifying their love and how special their wedding day still could be!

Captured and submitted by Adam and Keli Photography Mary and Marc met in college and a romance started to form. This love story is one that’s been in the making for years and what a sweet day to watch (finally) happen. This was a day for the books, truly. Mary and Marc are so incredibly sweet and madly in love. Mary was a stunning Bride and is just as sweet as can be. They had their wedding ceremony at the beautiful St. Francis de Sales Church. Mary and Marc’s family and friends were just the most wonderful group to be surrounded by and the whole day was just touching moment after touching moment. Mary’s dad’s toast didn’t leave a dry eye in the house. Telling us just what battles we don’t know others are fighting. They closed out the evening …

Destination Wedding in San Diego

Photos and story by Paul Douda Photography Travel bugs a.k.a. Jordan & Mirtza have spent their relationship traveling the world together. They have seen so many sites and Jordan even planned a romantic scavenger hunt around Italy to propose to Mirtza. Being from Louisiana, Jordan & Mirtza had never been to San Diego but have always loved the ocean and the idea of having an intimate seaside wedding with their closest family and friends. It was beautiful to see how many people traveled across the country to witness their special day. Especially during a pandemic! Instead of a traditional guest book, they opted for their guests to sign a globe which they will use to plan future trips and wives. Jordan and Mirtza hosted a simple and beautiful wedding overlooking Sunset Cliffs followed by a reception dinner at the historic …

Falling in Love Chic Wedding Styled Shoot

Photos and story by Quamina Image Ghartey of Events By Lady J, and Floral Designer, Patricia Sterling of Sincerely PS Events and Design, along with a talented team of industry partners. The combination of fall scenery with beautiful details of bold and vibrant colors added a touch of sophistication to the shoot. We fell in love with a beautiful bold orange chair and built the theme of the shoot around it. We combined bold color palettes of orange, dusty blue, light blue, gray, and accented it with gold. With the autumn weather, we thought we could emphasize the scene by setting up a chic table with an autumnal and glamorous touch. We played with autumn colors in the flowers, invitations, menu cards, and custom macaroons to emphasize the look. To add to the shoot we incorporated a whiskey and cigar …

Elopement Wedding During COVID-19 | Eddie and Melissa

By: Rob Jinks of Rob Jink Photography This wasn’t what Eddie and Melissa expected their wedding day to look like. When I had my first video consultation with them, Melissa was excited to get married in the same church where her parents were married, St. Hugh of Grenoble Church in Maryland. Eddie was looking forward to having all of this family together, including his father who lives in China. Then COVID-19 struck. Eddie and Melissa’s May 2020 wedding had to be cancelled. All of their hard work and planning changed dramatically. But instead of canceling altogether they chose to reschedule to another date and go ahead and elope! Having a full party with family and friends is still something they are exited to do but in the meantime they simply wanted to be married. But then other challenges came. Melissa …
